Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By embedding the Frax Ramp widget, calling our hosted API, or otherwise using the service (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you accept these terms on its behalf.

2. The Service

Frax Ramp provides on-ramp infrastructure for the Fraxtal network, allowing end users to settle fiat currency to frxUSD through an embeddable React component and a hosted REST API. Payment processing and identity verification are performed by third-party providers.

3. Eligibility and acceptable use

You must be legally able to enter into these terms and use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You agree not to use the Service for fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion, or any unlawful activity, and not to interfere with or abuse the Service or its underlying infrastructure.

4. Transactions and on-chain settlement

Blockchain transactions are irreversible. Once funds are credited on-chain, they cannot be reversed by us. You are responsible for providing a correct destination address. Quotes, rates, and fees are presented before you confirm a transaction and may change until the transaction is finalized.

5. No warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BrainDAO and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of funds, profits, or data arising from your use of the Service.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the updated date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
